A. You should have your boiler serviced at least once a year to ensure it functions correctly, safety and efficiently. Not sticking to an annual boiler service could affect your boiler's performance, you could experience a boiler breakdown, or you could even invalidate your warranty. A. It’s not uncommon for your boiler to lose a little bit of pressure slowly and only slightly, as this can easily be resolved by repressuring the system. But a rapid drop in pressure, or a repeated drop after you’ve repressurised it usually means that there’s a problem somewhere. A. Normal boiler pressure should be between about 1-2 bars. The ideal boiler pressure is often marked as a range in green on the gauge itself. With red indicating the low and high boiler pressure zones. Bear in mind that your boiler may continue to work if the pressure is in these red zones. But if it's shutting down or won’t switch on, you've got a problem. Even when your boiler’s working well, it’s a good idea to check the pressure occasionally. A. We can help with a simple plumbing repair to a full central heating system. Over the years we have found that most people like to come to us for service and maintenance work including boiler repairs or those small plumbing jobs that no one likes to do. A. We currently don't offer bathroom installations. This was a decision we made a couple of years ago to focus more on the service and repair work we do. By not installing bathrooms, this frees us up and allows us to be more proactive with our work and this allows us to be 'More' available to attend those emergency jobs you have or repairing and replacing boilers. This may change in the future but right now we are happy with this decision
